I bought this Frigidaire air conditioner to replace my old Frigidaire (which was 15 yrs. old) and it has not disappointed. I trust Frigidaire products and will always feel safe buying this brand. It also is a great air conditioner with features which many other air conditioners don't have. I love it, it cools off the area it was purchased for and I feel like I got my money's worth.

Our thru the wall unit gave up about 6 weeks ago, just as temps started to soar here (always the way, right?). I found this Fridgidaire unit at a good price and luckily it was delivered much earlier than predicted. The unit has been on just about constantly for 5 weeks - the wife likes it that way. So far, so good!The only issue I have is that the unit always starts in ECO mode, requiring turning ECO mode off each startup. The on again off again bit can be disturbing during sleep. I wish the unit had a settings memory. Really like this unit though - in looks and performance.

The sales lady said the BTU was good for about 400 square feet, but we have found this to perfectly cool our whole 800 square foot condo. I bought this to replace my old one that just couldn't hold on any more. My old one was a great air conditioner that cooled off my room perfectly. This new Frigidaire does the same great job with one exception and that's why I just gave it 4 stars. The vents on my new air conditioner aren't as flexible as the one on my old one. I had more choices in the position of the vents with the old one. Other than that, the new one is great.
