Love the dryer, and all its features, the only downside I have found with it is that when you use the automatic settings, the dryness sensor is not accurate, because when the cycle finishes the clothes often are still damp

I chose a Frigidaire because the brand is well known and the appliance itself fit what I was looking for - no frills with a stainless steel drum. The dryer is user friendly, quiet, and does a good job (dries in 1/3 the time of the appliance it's replacing). I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others!

This dryer is only a few months old and it gets way too hot that it burns my clothes. I have tried everything from making sure the dryer vent in the wall to the outside of my house is clear and unplugging it and plugging it back in but it just gets wayyy too hot even on the lowest setting. I am not sure if this is just a mechanical issue with mine but I am still under warranty and will be seeing about having someone come look at it. I can™™t even use it because I am too scared that it will cause a fire I have been drying my clothes outside...

I have had my dryer for 14 months and have had problems from day ONE. It was making a loud noise which could be heard from outside my home last month at which time a neighbor called me and warned me of a possible fire hazzard. We checked the vents and all were clear.It NEVER completely dries the load. I live alone so I only use this dryer every couple of weeks. Terrible produc

I have always purchased Frigidaire appliances (frig, stove, microwave, dishwasher) because they are very efficient. I have never owned a dryer however until now. What a waste of money with the other brands. This dryer is everything and then some.

I had the sense that my old dryer was about ready to bite the dust, but I kept holding out for one more load. Then it happened. After many years of service, it had finally died. I knew I would have to start looking for a new dryer.I looked at several dryers at one of the bigger stores, but wound up at a smaller local atore where I had purchased appliances before.Jerry, the proprietor, showed me this Frigidaire dryer and explained the features it had. He could also have it delivered in a couple of hours and haul away my old one for free. I was really looking for something more basic, as my old dryer was pretty much no frills at all, but I was sold on the Frigidaire. I would finally get into the 21st century, where dryers are concerned anyway.Many years ago, I had bought a used Montgomery Ward dryer, that had a feature that sensed the moisture level of the clothes you were drying, and would either extend or shorten the drying time so that your clothes would dry without over drying or wasting energy. I really liked that feature and I thought if I ever bought a new dryer, I would like to have that feature for sure.Well, this dryer does that, and a whole lot more. I can say, without a doubt, this is the best dryer I have ever owned.Anthony S.

Over-dries the fabrics on medium heat and medium dryness setting. Clothes come out wrinkled even with "Wrinkle Release" selected. From day-one, has a thumping sound whenever drum is turning, regardless of the load
